How JobNod collects, uses and looks after your personal information.

Who we are
JobNod ("we", "us") is an online writing tool for Australian job applications. You can contact us at hello@getjobnod.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you enter it to copy or save responses in the STAR builder
- Nothing you type into the STAR response builder. Your drafts are saved only in your own browser and never sent to us
- Basic information about how you use the site, such as pages visited and your general location, collected through cookies and analytics tools
How we use it
- To send you the STAR template, new example responses and JobNod updates
- To send occasional selection criteria tips, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site
Who we share it with
We use trusted services to run JobNod: Klaviyo to manage our email list, Google Analytics to understand site visits, and Cloudflare to host the site. These services may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't sell your personal information.
Keeping it safe, and deleting it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom, or email us to delete your details completely.
Accessing or correcting your information
Email us to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct it.
New features
If we add new writing features, this policy will be updated to explain how we handle the job ads, CVs and answers you give us. We'll let subscribers know before it changes.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
